It is difficult to work out business strategies during hard economic times. The very survival of business may seem to be at stake. But then these are the true testing time of business acumen of entrepreneurs. Even in business world only the fittest can survive and stay afloat. Here mental strength becomes as important as financial strength.
It is important to recognize the challenge and work out a mental strategy without panicking. There are many survival kits available in the market these days. These can be books of other successful businessmen, or some other web resources. One can take help of financial advisors. Patience is the key factor. Market and economic trends change with time. So it best to move slowly and steadily till the tide and storm dies down. Any impulsive decision may just drown the business.
Its best to keep the chin up, not to think about the failures, take all employees into confidence, get strength from customer base, keep all communication channels open, have a good backup ready and never over react. A single hurried decision may trigger the ruin. It may not be time to count losses yet.
Crisis management is important both in business and as well as in life. We need to have strong character for survival and success. Only challenges can make our character and souls strong to face much tougher terrain ahead.

Hmmm...nice useful thoughts! Great, Madkat!
I’ve always believed in the marketing dictum that says: when the business is down, create a new product or a new market, but when the business is down and out, quit.
Hehe...
Quitting with dignity is a valid option.
But then again, in this day and age, no one says quit. So, don’t quit! :)
:)LOL LOL
Mental strategies...it’s a good article. I think anyone can help raise awareness of the determinants of mental and emotional health at public, professional and policy making levels and reduce discrimination against people with mental health problems
Have you ever surprise by a big expense you weren’t prepare to pay? If so you were not alone. It happen to all people in all the times and all causes them to incur unwanted debts to solve the problem. Sometimes these are often expense you have simply forgotten about. Payday loans may be the best thing to happen to some people. Anyone who says they are predatory, have never needed one or the help they provide. Anti-payday loan people quote exorbitant interest rates as the reasons not to use them. The percentage rates quoted are not explained appropriately to the reader. For example, 361% interest rates are quoted in an effort to scare people, but the truth is 361% is the amount that would be charged if you calculated the interest on an annual rather than two-week basis. Payday loans are loaned out for a term not usually more than two weeks. The 361% quoted interest rate would also involve lapsing the loan for an entire year. Just as any other creditor, fees will be applied and interest charges will accrue during the whole course of the year. To explain payday loans in layman’s terms that we can all understand and calculate easily, if you took out a payday loan for $100 dollars on a two week term, you would end up paying back somewhere in between $115 and $130 dollars or about 15 to 30% of the borrowed amount. This $15 to $30 in interest is not near as much as a late mortgage fee of $75. Plus payday loans are quick to apply for and approval is almost instant, sometimes not even requiring a credit check. Funds are deposited into your bank account within a couple of hours. It’s a great service for a great price.
